Every student at Brookswood has an email account supplied by the school district.  This account should be used when you sign up for any online service that is part of the CatPack program.  This account also allows you to access the school district directory to easily communicate with staff and students at Brookswood.

Finding Your School Email Address
A student’s school email address consists of their first initial, their last name, the last four numbers from their student number followed by @langleyschools.ca.  For example, student John Smith with student number 123456 would have an email address of jsmith3456@langleyschools.ca

There are three ways to access your school district email from your iPad:

Using Outlook Online Web Access
Using a web browser you can access Langley School District Email.  Use your student email address and school network password to log in.  This method is best used when you are on a computer or iPad that is not your own.

Using Outlook App
This app is part of the Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, OneNote) and is the recommended method for email on your own iPad.  Follow the instructions to download and setup your email account on this Outlook app page.

Using Mail app
You can use the iPad’s Mail app to access your school email as well.  To add your school email account to Mail follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings app on your iPad and go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars and click on Add Account on left side.
  2. Select Exchange as the type of account.
  3. Enter your school district email account and network password.  Enter BSS Mail for description.
